Billy Heath – Manager
Re-appointed as manager on 9th December
2007 after initially resigning on 17th September following
the FA Cup defeat Stocksbridge PS, he replaced Mark Hancock who lasted
just five weeks as manager before being sacked. Heasth originally joined
Frickley as manager on 5th October 2006, replacing Gary Marrow who left
to join Grantham Town, and successfully obtained his objective of
avoiding relegation. After a distinguished playing career in senior
non-league football Heath enjoyed a successful 5 year spell as manager
at Bridlington Town, leading them from the NCEL 1st Division to the
UniBond Premier Division as well as reaching 7 cup finals. After
suffering a relegation Heath steered Bridlington to a play-off place in
2005/06 but resigned following Bridlington's much publicised financial
problems at the time.

Mark
Carroll – Assistant Manager
Re-joined as Billy Heath’s assistant fopllowing
his re-appointment in December 2007. Initially joined the club as
Heath's assistant after occupying the same role at Bridlington Town.
Carroll has previously played for Hull City, Hall Road Rangers, North
Ferriby United and Bridlington Town.

Jon
Hood
An experienced
goalkeeper who was Billy Heath’s first signing in October 2006. Hood
joined Frickley for the third time from Ossett Town where he had spent
the past couple of seasons after leaving Goole AFC. He has also played
for Ossett Albion and Glasshoughton Welfare.

Chris Hilton
An experienced player who can play in most positions across the back
four, Chris returned for his second spell at the club at the end of
September 2006 from Sheffield FC. He was originally a trainee at
Rotherham United before joining Frickley for the first time in September
1995. He spent almost six years with the club before leaving to join
Stocksbridge Park Steels in 2001 and then Belper Town 2002. A move to
Sheffield FC followed a year later.

Steve Robinson
Steve returned to the Club from Bradford Park
Avenue in early November 2006 after leaving in early September when the
Blues were still managed by Gary Marrow.
A locally based player, Steve originally joined the Blues in
January 2003 and, although primarily a right-full-back, he can adapt
well to most positions.

Adam
Pollock
Adam
is a young defender who who joined the club at the start of last season
from the now defunct AFC Barnsley in the Central Midlands
League.

Dean Jones
Dean
joined the club for the third time during the summer of 2006 having
finished last season on loan at Ossett Town from Bradford Park Avenue.
An experienced central defender, he first joined Frickley from Barnsley
during the summer of 1998 but he then moved on to Ilkeston Town before
returning to Frickley. However, further moves followed to Belper Town
and then Bradford Park Avenue where he has spent the last two seasons.

Gowen
A
former York City junior, Chris is a left sided defender or midfielder
who joined first joined Frickley in 2001. He left to join North Ferriby
United in July 2003 but returned to Frickley in August 2007.

Phil
Lindley
An
adaptable player who can play in most positions, Phil first joined
Frickley in February 2003 from Bradford Park Avenue. He moved to
Wakefield-Emley in October 2004 but returned to Frickley in mid-February
2005. However, he left to join Ossett Town in Feburary 2006 before
returning to Frickley in August 2007

Jonathan
is a 30-year-old combative midfielder who joined the club in October
from Central Midlands League side Hatfield Main

Danny Walsh
An
experienced midfielder, 26 year-old Danny is a new signing for this
season having spent last season with Bradford Park Avenue and Ossett
Town in the UniBond Premier Division.

Lee
Morris
Lee
returned to the club in December 2006 after starting the season at
Stalybridge Celtic. A prolific goalscorer, Lee first joined Frickley at
the start of the 2002/03
season from Hallam FC and soon established himself as a proven UniBond
League goalscorer, so much so that he was sold to Harrogate Town at the
end of the 2003/04 season. His stay there was curtailed by injury and he
went on to have a month on loan at Wakefield-Emley before moving to
Droylsden. He then had a month back at Frickley mid-way through the
2005/06 season before joining Hucknall Town until the end of the season.

Neil Towler
Neil is a
29-year-old striker who joined the club at the end of November 2007 from
Bridlington Town. He has previously played for Selby Town in the NCEL
Premier Division.

Rob Pell
Rob
is a powerful striker who joined the club for the second time in
December 2007 from Guiseley. He originally joined Frickley in 2005 from
Ossett Town but left to join Guiseley in November 2006. He started his
career at Rotherham United where he made a couple of first team
appearances and he also had a spell on loan at Doncaster Rovers. Moves
to Grantham Town, Northwich Victoria, Southport, Droylsden and Guiseley
followed before Pell moved to Norway with Larvik. He re-joined Southport
in January 2003 before moving on to Worksop Town, Harrogate Town and
Wakefield & Emley before joining Ossett Town.

Chris White
A
left sided midfielder, Chris signed for the Blues in the summer of 2007
from NCEL Premier Division runners-up Sheffield FC. He started his
career with Barnsley’s academy before switching to Sheffield
Wednesday’s academy in 2003 where he also featured for Wednesday’s
reserves. Her was released in 2005 and joined Sheffield FC.

Turner
A
quick forward, 20 year old Scott is a product of last season’s reserve
team who has impressed in his first few first team outings which made
him a regular member of the squad for much of the season

Dean is a 24-year-old striker who signed from Yorkshire Main in
November 2007.

Twenty year old Ashley is a lively striker who
joined the Blues last season from NCEL side Pontefract Colliery.
