Saturday 25th August - Frickley Athletic 1-1 Marine

Luck again deserted Frickley when they entertained Marine in the UniBond Premier Division and had to be satisfied with a share of the spoils.
Although taking time to get into gear, the Blues finished strongly with the visiting goal bearing a charmed life on a handful of occasions.
Lee Morris found Chris White on the right in the eighth minute and he cut inside before striking an angled 25 yard drive across the face of goal.
A low cross by Paul Woolcroft was diverted behind by Steve Heath in the 13th minute and, from the corner, Jon Hood fingertipped a powerful header from Peter Cumiskey over the bar.
Nathan Hotte twice tested Marine keeper Andy Banks as the home side began to look dangerous midway through the half, with the opposing goal having a let-off after 28 minutes.
A long clearance from Hood was flicked over Banks by Morris, but half cleared by Phil Brazier, allowing Hotte to have a shot blocked and Morris saw his effort from the rebound turned off the line.
Marine snatched the lead in the 41st minute, Kevin Topwey having a shot blocked at point blank range by Hood but he managed to squeeze in the rebound despite efforts from Steve Ball and Chris Hilton to clear.
On the stroke of half-time, Hilton sent White down the right and he crossed for Morris to strike an angled 20 yard drive which Banks just managed to hold.
Frickley equalised in the 55th minute, Chris White whipping in a corner kick from the right and sub Danny Davidson finding the net with another fine header.
It injected fresh life into exchanges, Chris Gowen playing a neat one-two with Danny Walsh in the 65th minute before putting a scorching 25 yard drive inches wide.
Hood did well to hold a 30 yard free-kick from James Locke in the 79th minute, while also smothering an angled shot from Lee Parle  five minutes later.
Frickley looked the more menacing, and Morris saw his header come back off the near post in the 85th minute, with Richard Tracey's shot from the rebound being deflected over the bar.
Davidson cut in from the right two minutes later and picked out Chris White but he dragged his shot wide, while Davidson had the ball in the net in the 89th minute, only for it to be disallowed for an infringement by another Blues player.
