How You Can Help

Matchday Help

For those that cannot afford to help the Club financially there are other ways to help that won't cost you a penny. One way to help the club is to give physical help on matchdays or through the week.

Help is always required with jobs such as taking the nets down after home matches, cleaning and sweeping the stand, cleaning the dressing rooms and much more.

If you are able to help by giving up a small amount of your time, please either e-mail me or ring the Chairman, Pete Bywater on 1977 648365.

Recycling Projects

The club have been running some recycling projects over the last 9 months and it costs nothing to contribute towards these.

The first is the Aluminium Can Recycling Project - Simply save your waste aluminium cans and bring them up to the ground on matchdays and place them in the the recycling bin which is inside the turnstiles.

The second is the Used Ink Cartridge Recycling Project - Simply collect your used inkjet printer cartridges (or laser printer cartridges) and bring them up to the ground and place them in the recycling box inside the entrance to the bar. Even better, why not collect them from your friends, neighbours or work to help the club even more?

Up to now the Aluminium Can Recycling has brought in £40 from one "weigh in" of cans, although there is several times this quantity of cans still to weigh in.

The latest cheque from the Ink Cartridge Recycling was for £146. This brings the total to date from Ink Cartridge Recycling to £177 and there is still more to come as yet another batch of laser toner cartridges have just been sent off. It is hoped that this latest batch will fetch another £40.
