Saturday 13th January - Fleetwood Town 2-2 Frickley Athletic

With Manager Billy Heath away on business Mark Carroll took charge of the side and he was without the suspended Dean Jones and Martin Thacker who has returned to Goole.

Reduced to ten men just before the interval, Fleetwood snatched a share of the spoils when their stand-in goalkeeper headed in an equaliser in stoppage time of this Unibond Premier Division game.

The home side had the better of the first half, Andy Bell gathering a long clearance in the 11th minute to break clear but he shot tamely at Jon Hood from the edge of the penalty area.
Steve Robinson missed a tackle on Ged Smith in the 34th minute, but the Town forward was stopped by a well time tackle from Steve Kennedy although Hood was forced to make a great save to deny Jamie Milligan a minute later.
A back pass was chased by Lee Morris and Fleetwood goalkeeper Danny Hurst slipped as he went to clear and was judged to have pulled Morris down as he seized the ball six yards out, which led to Hurst getting a red card, while Morris beat stand-in keeper Nathan Pond from the resultant spot kick in the 42nd minute.

Frickley played into a strong wind after the break but Danny Moore struck a 25 yard shot which Pond turned round a post in the 58th minute. Town responded, Ged Smith lashing an angled 25 yard drive just inside the far post to put the home side level after 67 minutes.

It took a fine save from Hood to prevent Milligan putting Fleetwood in front with an 18 yard shot in the 77th minute, and Ryan Moore headed just over a minute later.
Danny Moore went close for the Blues with a 20 yard drive in the 82nd minute before they regained the lead two minutes later, Paul Palmer breaking down the right and crossing to the far post where Richard Tracey volleyed in.
Only seconds remained when Town were awarded a corner on the left and Nathan Pond dashed upfield to head in the equaliser
