Saturday 14th July - Frickley Athletic 1-2 Farsley Celtic

Fielding virtually a different team for each half, Frickley gained several plus points from this friendly with Celtic, who took the honours with a goal in each period.
Manager Billy Heath tried to put together a combative brace of sides, and must have been pleased at the enthusiasm and skill shown by all the players.
Farsley started well with Lee Tuck having a shot go just wide before Adam Deakin got down the right for the Blues in the eighth minute and whipped in a deep cross which Lee Morris managed to get his head to but the ball fell straight into Tom Morgan's hands.
The visitors went in front after 16 minutes when Andy Jeffrey could only parry a cross from the left and Nick Smith pounced at the far post to knock the ball in.
Nathan Hotte won the ball two minutes later and picked out Morris, who was denied an equaliser by a last gasp tackle from Chris Thackray.
A free-kick by Richard Tracey on the half hour produced a glancing header from Steve Heath which flashed inches wide, and Morris cut in from the right two minutes later but lifted his 30 yard drive over the target.
There was a warm reception for Jon Hood when he took over between the posts for the Blues after the break, saving from Pat McGuire at point blank range in the 48th minute and then holding a shot from Ashley Allanson.
Hood turned a low 20 yard drive by Lee Tuck round for a corner in the 58th minute and the flag kick was not cleared, McGuire finding the net after a neat chip by Smith.
Three minutes later, Ashley Vickers controlled a through ball to lob the advancing Paul Cuss to reduce the arrears, and Celtic started to find a mainly young and speedy home combination a problem.
Tracey, who had returned in attack, fired across the face of goal in the 80th minute and then had an effort well held by Cuss four minutes later as Frickley tried hard to get on terms.
