The Blues comfortably defeated NCEL Premier Division side 4-0 after taking an early lead through STEVE KENNEDY, who met Calum Selby's floated free-kick from the left with a decisive header after just 5 minutes.

ASHELY SCOTHERN increased the lead five minutes before half time, tapping in at the far post after Leroy Chamber's had hooked on Steve Robinson's throw in.

Good work down the left from Martin Woolford saw his send over a cross which CHAMBERS met at the near post to flick the ball over a defender and the goal keeper and into the far corner of the net.

Four minutes from time a quickly taken free-kick from Simon Collins saw WOOLFORD race away down the left and cut into the box before beating the 'keeper with a low shot into the far corner.

Right at the death the home side went close to snatching a consolation goal but former Barnsley forward Clint Marcelle crashed his fierce shot against the underside of the crossbar.
